Library
Structure The KAI Library is a Kaunas subdivision of the library of Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts. The KAI Library structure consists of a collection of books & periodicals and a reading room. Working Hours The Library is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays. Closed on Saturday and Sunday, and on the last Friday of the month. Library Collection Started in 1992, the current KAI Library collection comprises 8000 book items of 3900 titles, and 8 periodicals. With support from The Westerly Trust (UK), the Library now also gets the subscriptions of 3 British art magazines (Frieze, Contemporary, and RA Magazine). Cooperation Since the KAI Library collection is rather specific, students and faculty often use the collections and services of other Kaunas libraries: Kaunas Public Library, Library of Vytautas Magnus University, and Library of Kaunas University of Technology. KAI students and faculty also have full access and borrowing rights in the central library of Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts, located in Vilnius.
